Dr. Hemant S. Murthy is a Consultant and Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida. He is an Associate Chair of Medicine as well as the Director of Quality in the Division of Hematology Oncology at Mayo Clinic Florida, and co-chair of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center Protocol Review and Monitoring Committee.

His clinical and research interests include stem cell transplantation and cellular immunotherapy. He is a principal investigator of a number of early phase clinical trials focusing on bone marrow transplantation and cell therapy for leukemia and solid tumor malignancies.

In his free time, Dr. Murthy enjoys time with family, and is keen to improve his footwork, through tennis, learning ballroom dancing and avoiding Legos expertly placed on the floor by his children.
