Dr. Pooja Advani is an oncologist that specializes in taking care of patients with breast cancer at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville. She also serves as the director of the multidisciplinary breast clinic. She received her medical training in Mumbai, India where she was born and then moved to the US to complete her residency at University of Buffalo, NY and hematology and oncology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Florida. She is passionate about taking care of her patients but also loves to work in the laboratory to discover and develop new treatments for breast cancer. Outside of work, she loves to travel and explore new places through the lens of food and coffee. She enjoys watching FormulaOne car racing and playing the cello.
